Hey 1️⃣👋

My happiness…. ❤️👩‍🦰👧🏼❤️

Never Let Me Go (2010), directed by Mark Romanek and based on the novel by Kazuo Ishiguro, is a heartbreaking story about love, friendship, and the things that make us human.

The film follows Kathy, Tommy, and Ruth, three students who grow up together at the secluded Hailsham boarding school. As they get older, their friendships become more complicated, feelings change, and the future they once imagined for themselves begins to look very different.

Beneath its quiet, beautiful atmosphere lies a story about mortality, lost time, and the painful reality of knowing that some things are beyond your control. The film explores these ideas through the characters’ relationships, allowing the sadness to build slowly rather than relying on dramatic twists.

Carey Mulligan, Andrew Garfield, and Keira Knightley deliver deeply moving performances, capturing the love, jealousy, regret, and longing that shape their characters’ lives. Some of the most heartbreaking moments come from the smallest gestures and the things left unsaid.

Never Let Me Go is the kind of film that makes you think about how precious an ordinary life really is, and how much meaning we find in the time we have with the people we love.
