illiomote - Flicker (Soundcasts Remix)

We contributed a remix of “Flicker” from illiomote’s EP “5”. Released last year as the band’s first project under their new full-band setup, “5” sees each member using illiomote as a foundation — distilling their thoughts on the interplay between band and pop, words and singing, everyday life and mood into a psychedelic sound world that captures their instincts and where they stand right now. Taking that as a starting point, we reworked it through the deep house lens that defines Soundcasts, blending a floating, continuous groove with the band’s original sound in search of a fresh reinterpretation. Artwork by Takuma Hirano. Out now on all platforms from March 25.
