Day 3 of Canada continued: Niagara Falls was genuinely just breathtaking. People often visit in summer weather but I’m glad I got to see it all frozen over. I’ve always loved the cold and the snow, so seeing such a beautiful landmark just completely covered in ice was just beautiful.

Nigerian gospel singer Olayemi Bayonile Bolaji, popularly known as Toluwanisings, has sadly passed away at the age of 41. According to reports, the singer suddenly slumped in the early hours of Wednesday. His personal assistant said they desperately tried to save him, taking him to about seven or eight hospitals, but unfortunately, he did not survive. This part of the story is extremely heartbreaking. When someone is taken from hospital to hospital during an emergency and still cannot get the urgent treatment needed, serious questions have to be asked about Nigeria’s healthcare system. It is difficult not to wonder whether his death could have been avoided if he had been in a country with a stronger emergency medical system and faster access to treatment. We cannot say for certain that he would have survived, especially because the family has not confirmed the exact medical cause of his death, but the reported struggle to find immediate medical help is deeply troubling. @Toluwanisings was a respected gospel singer, songwriter and minister known for his energetic Yoruba praise and worship music. He is survived by his wife and children. May his soul rest in peace, and may God comfort his family during this difficult time. 📺: @drolubamiji
