The art of being your own muse 🫰🏽

Today, on Climate Action Day, we’re proud to celebrate our Arsenal Denmark Supporters Club, who are taking climate action alongside the club.⁣
⁣
Members regularly travel to Emirates Stadium to cheer us on, and they recognise this impacts the environment. Together we are growing the Arsenal Forest in Bore, Kenya, taking action to mitigate the impact of supporter travel. Arsenal Denmark has funded the planting of 265 trees for the 2025/26 season, which equates to 53 tonnes of CO2. ⁣
⁣
“Arsenal Denmark strives to be an integral part of the Arsenal family. We want to be involved and feel a sense of belonging, which is why we regularly travel to Emirates Stadium to watch The Arsenal," said Thomas Ballegaard, President and Chairman of Arsenal Denmark. ⁣
⁣
"At the same time, we want to act responsibly and do our bit for the environment. Supporting the Arsenal Forest in Kenya is a meaningful way for us to take responsibility for the carbon footprint of our journeys from Denmark to London.” ⁣
⁣
The Arsenal Forest began in 2021 to address emissions from the production of the matchday programmes, and the total number of trees planted after five full seasons is now 70,015 across 70 acres of land. In addition, more than 100 local workers have been involved in the Arsenal Forest since the first tree was planted, and the project has provided them with valuable income and the means to set up their own businesses in Bore. ⁣
⁣
Climate action is a team effort, and we’re proud to work alongside our supporters, partners and colleagues to act for the environment. If you’d like to get involved, visit Arsenal.com to find out how you can plant your own tree in the Arsenal Forest.
