Dear friends, thank you all for your incredible support. Although I haven't been able to reply to everyone, please know that I read your messages whenever I can and deeply appreciate every one of them. Many of you have been asking what happened, so I wanted to share my story and how it all began. Two months ago, after Easter, I was rushed to the hospital with severe stomach pain and underwent emergency surgery for an ileus. During the operation, doctors discovered multiple tumors. Further tests revealed advanced skin melanoma that had spread throughout my body, including my brain. My condition worsened. I lost a lot of weight, became extremely weak, and on May 13th, I stopped breathing. Thanks to Alesa and Toby, who resuscitated me before paramedics arrived, I was given another chance. Since then, day by day, I regained strength, started talking, walking, and eating again. A few days ago, I received amazing news: my tumor markers have dropped dramatically. None of this would be possible without Alesa, my children, family, friends, and the incredible doctors and nurses caring for me. The battle is far from over, but I am still here, and I am still fighting. And yes... you will see Sinister on stage again soon. Thank you for your love, support, and belief. 🤘💪
Swiss motion designer Quentin Maillard, known as Le Maille, transforms ordinary vinyl records into hypnotic moving animations. Using Blender and After Effects, he creates looping sequences that are printed directly onto spinning records. When viewed under the right camera shutter speed or a strobe light, the images suddenly appear to come alive, creating the illusion of motion on an otherwise static surface. The effect is based on a technique known as a zoetrope, one of the earliest forms of animation. By placing sequential frames around a spinning disc and viewing them at specific intervals, the brain combines the images into continuous movement. The result feels almost magical, even though it relies on a simple optical illusion rather than digital effects. There is no AI involved in the creation of these works.
