Signs I am not over this book

I am beginning to develop a deep affection towards long books which is part of the reason why I don't meet my reading goals but that's not what I am talking about. >_<

I am talking about how I am a little different after every long read.A bit more calm.A bit more patient .How without my knowing it made me averse to the short form content like I am not even exaggerating even a good movie didn't give me that level of satisfaction that I got from completing a thoughtful read .It linger on me so often. I keep thinking about it for days.I know its true for all the good books.But a long book makes you its companion. Every day for months you are following these characters and their llore like a show that goes on far too many seasons. That's how I feel about reading the count of monte cristo.Its like sailing in a ship with Edmond Dantes and asking what he is planning nextI might not read many books but I love the few I do with all my heart and such is the joy of reading.
