The Plains

A moment for the importance of biosecurity when you’re visiting our farms 🙏

Pests, weeds and diseases can travel invisibly on your shoes, clothing and car tyres putting farming operations at huge risk. Every time a farm opens to visitors, careful thought and consideration has informed a biosecurity plan which minimises the risk. Some of it you’ll see - like foot baths, and signage. Some of it, you won’t.

By keeping biosecurity in mind on your visit, you’re helping to protect our farms and food and fibre security.
