time zones are really confusing me but i’m about 80% sure my song, how to drive, comes out at midnight. i wrote this with the beautiful @sanjosephx and @eliottmusic many moons ago. in some ways this song felt a little too vulnerable to ever release but that’s also kind of the point.

The best investments strategies are boring.
The best businesses systems are boring.
Repeating what works is boring.

You know what isn’t boring? Poverty. Poverty is always exciting.

Embrace boring. It’s where the money is.

📕 Book Review 📕

The Body in the Bath by Ragnar Jónasson is
an exceptionally fast-paced Icelandic thriller that perfectly bridges Golden Age plotting with Scandi noir chills ❄️

This was my first introduction to our main character, Helgi, but this is actually the third in the series and as you can see, I have the first two ready and waiting to read soon as I am totally hooked!

The best way to describe it is an Agatha Christie meets Nordic Noir. It ’s a classic “whodunnit” and I was gripped the entire way through- read it in well under 24 hours!

The dual POV alternating chapters and two separate mysteries combined with the short chapters kept me wanting to read “just a little bit more.”

If you love a classic whodunnit but with a dark, atmospheric Scandi twist, add this to your TBR immediately 🤩

Thank you so much to @michaeljbooks and @ragnarjo for the early copy of this one which publishes on 12th November ❄️
