Congrats @pinche_david_91 his first time ever down a track and ran a 12.3 in his stock b16 turbo Crx. Unfortunately on a buy run the 90s cable transmission had enough and blew the stock diff.
Congrats to @ogarciaaa on his first 8 second pass 8.99 @141 with some drivetrain slippage in 4th. The car is on a stock sleeve 82mm css block, s372 and the cool thing is it’s on a smaller engine than it had before. The car hasn’t touched a dyno yet so have no idea what it’s makes.We have been working towards this for a while now but we had to figure out a lot of issues between the intake manifold leaking, custom 1 off fuel rail leaking and worn out suspension components. Unfortunately we still need to sort out his fuel rail issue as the car leaked fuel again and caught fire on his e1 pass. Just a really unfortunate thing but this man had to rush between fixing his truck and race car between rounds that was ran really fast.Thankfully the staff @rockinghamdragway was able to put the fire out and the car will be able to race again soon after some repairs.
Big props to @justme_shawn on debuting his new setup and putting an entire car together in a short amount of time.Same car but now has a 25.5 cage done by @pjperformance_parts and a @precisionturbo 73.9. This was all done in less than 2 weeks prior to the event with only 1 test and tune Friday night 0 dyno time. We had issues getting the car to burn out but that was my bad on trying a longer final drive. After a few runs we finally made a pass down of 8.8 @171.
Last but not least shout out to @jon_88x99 always showing up and showing out. This man makes every event ready to go with sometimes no help. Sucks he didn’t take the win and lost on the tree but it was a good race. The car stays consistent and we may of figured out some of our issues the motor flexing.
Special thanks to @ekk.si @k24_gilbert @h3hear @osgares03 and everyone family members out there. Everyone helped each other out and we definitely had a hand full of things going on. Stay tuned you will see all these car progress this season! #dcnovations #wesspryracing #fpp
