This is the most difficult part of fostering and it’s understandably not for everyone. Foster grief is a real thing. Still, I would choose this journey again in a heartbeat, knowing that I’m helping to save the lives of these precious, often misunderstood animals.
I hope I have inspired some of you to adopt, foster, or rescue innocent animals in need. I hope I also inspire you to get your bunny a friend from your local shelter/rescue.

I remember having to give up 4 babies I was fostering… the vet took them back two weeks early because I was getting too attached. I genuinely thought my heart would burst with the pain . I still miss them every day . They went in pairs to loving homes and I got to keep one . Foster carers are the most special people in my eyes ❤️

You did a great job it sounds like, I remember the first foster I had I can only imagine what you felt. That’s the toughest part. All that love and energy you put into them. You saved them. You gave them a second chance at life you gave them the greatest gift ever.👏❤️❤️ and on top of that you bonded two bunnies to be buddies👏❤️❤️

Human has such respect and appreciation for people like you. When Bun passes, she’s thinking about being a foster mom. Bun has no idea how Human’s not going to end up adopting 10 bunnies.

I'm over the moon Blu finally found his forever home. I was getting really sad as the weeks passed that noone local was able to take him. He looks incredibly happy and that is down to you and your care. Well done ❤️🫂
