Open mics are for trying new things… and one of my favorite songs ever is Pride & Glory’s ‘Machine Gun Man’ by Zakk Wylde. So last night at open mic when I saw my friend Andrew’s acoustic guitar and he said it was OK for me to borrow it and play it on stage (thank you Andrew @thebluebandido!), I decided to give it a try, hopped on stage & ended up having a lot of fun. I have only ever noodled this song at home, and this isn’t my usual style - it definitely pushed me out of my comfort zone a bit & I made a few mistakes - but that’s what made it fun ☺️🤘 Music just makes me so happy.
