Apologies in advance for the long, sappy caption….

I have been nothing short of in awe of you these past two weeks. The mental and physical toughness you’ve shown, and everything pregnancy & childbirth have put your body through, is something I genuinely can’t wrap my head around. There’s not a man in this world who wouldn’t have completely lost it 20 minutes into what you’ve had to endure.

But through all of it, the most incredible part has been watching the love and excitement you have for our daughter. Even at 4 in the morning, running on no sleep, you somehow still manage to be so excited to wake up and feed her.

I don’t really know what I expected pregnancy and childbirth to look like, but the level of respect and admiration I have for you, and every mom who has gone through this, is astronomical.

Also, a quick shoutout to the nurses and doctors who made me realize just how completely helpless I am in a real-life emergency. Apparently, playing a couple of doctors on TV doesn’t actually qualify you for anything. The girls at the hospital were just the perfect level of calm, loving, caring, reassuring, fast-acting, knowledgeable, and everything else in between. Thank you for taking care of my girls. (You know who you are)

My wife, the nurses, the doctors… you guys are legitimately real-life heroes.

Tash, thank you for being the best mom I could have ever asked for our daughter. Watching you become a mother has somehow made me love you even more than I thought was possible.

You are the strongest person I know, and our little girl has absolutely no idea how lucky she is to have you.

Why Do Indian Middle-Class Homes Look Like PGs? 😭

Plastic flowers. Floral curtains. Sofa covers that have never seen the light of day. A wall calendar that knows more about the family than Google Calendar ever will. 😂

If you grew up in an Indian household, you already know the struggle.

But here's the real interior design mistake: it's not about how much you spend on your home. It's about how you put everything together.

🎨 Clashing colours make a room feel chaotic.
💡 Poor lighting can ruin even beautiful furniture.
🛋️ Too many patterns and decorative items create visual clutter.
🏡 The right colour palette, thoughtful lighting and a few intentional design choices can transform your living room—even on a budget.

Good interior design isn't about making your home look expensive. It's about making it look cohesive, comfortable and thoughtfully designed.

And yes, we respect the legendary plastic flower pot. It has survived more family arguments than any of us. 🌸😭

Tell us honestly: what's the most permanent member of your Indian household?

A. Plastic flowers 🌸
B. Sofa plastic covers 🛋️
C. The family wall calendar 📅
D. Floral curtains 🌺

Drop your answer in the comments. Tag that one family member who refuses to let any of these go. 😂

Save this Reel before your next home makeover!
