BOOK REVIEW of ... [see last slide!] by @christina_louiese_writes:
A while ago, when we made one of our introductory, to-be-pinned posts, I proudly proclaimed myself to be a lover of metaphors! And then mostly forgot to ever prove it to you.
So here I am, remembering.
Okay, I'll admit, our neighbors gave us a mouth-watering piece of carrot cake just like that one, which may have colored my perception slightly, BUT! It is also a perfect image for this delicious morsel of cozy fantasy I got to read there.
Can you compare your (favorite) comfort read to a food? I'd love to hear all about it. 👇🏼
@jpennerauthor Still plan on trying the recipes in your book as well!!! Just ordered the sequels as well, maybe you'll even have a carrot cake recipe in there somewhere. 🙂

This book looks promising! I’d be glad to feature it for my readers—send the post to @infinityprose.

I love this so so much omggg!! What a cool idea :) I bet I could compare my comfort read to a food, but I would really have to think about it 😂

I love this so much! The idea, the metaphor, the aesthetics, all of it. Now I only need to figure out how to answer your question. 🤔
