D-Train - You're The One For Me (1981)
Released in 1981 on You’re the One for Me, this is one of those records that defines that early 80s transition from disco into dance and boogie. It didn’t blow up on the Billboard Hot 100, but it became a club classic, hitting #1 on the US Dance Club Songs chart, and that’s really where its legacy lives.
