What a beautiful morning with the rain falling and enjoying my morning coffee as I reflect on my life and the people that have cross my path and have left there essences in my memories!!

Thank you all that have travelled with me in this train called life! Some of you have come on and off a different stations in my life and some you you are still traveling with me!!!

Thank you all and I thank my God Jehovah for all the blessings!!

As I continue to learn in this life I hope to stay in touch with everyone that I consider my friend!!!

I’m will try to make time out of my busy schedule ( those of you that know that I’m in the Car Business ) to have a glass of wine or coffee with you!!!

Time is the most valuable commodity we all possess!

From Mumbai’s packed streets to Pune’s iconic processions, devotees across India began bidding farewell to Lord Ganesha on Friday as Ganesh Visarjan marked the culmination of the 10-day Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations.

September 25 marks Anant Chaturdashi this year, traditionally regarded as the main day for Ganpati Visarjan. The festival had begun on September 14, when families and public mandals welcomed Ganesha idols into homes and pandals.

Across cities, devotees carried idols in elaborate processions accompanied by dhol-tasha, music, dancing and chants of “Ganpati Bappa Morya, pudhchya varshi lavkar ya”, before immersing them at beaches, rivers, lakes and specially created artificial ponds.

Mumbai witnessed some of the largest gatherings, with thousands of idols expected to reach immersion points including Girgaon Chowpatty, Dadar, Juhu, Versova and Madh. Processions began early in the day as large crowds accompanied neighbourhood mandals and prominent idols towards the sea. More than 23,000 police personnel were reportedly deployed for security and crowd management as lakhs of devotees were expected on the streets.

Pune also began its traditional final-day procession, led by Kasba Ganpati, the first among the city’s revered Manache Paach Ganpatis. Authorities imposed traffic restrictions across major roads as large crowds gathered in central Pune.

Visarjan is both a celebration and an emotional farewell. According to Hindu tradition, the immersion symbolises Lord Ganesha’s return to his divine abode, with devotees praying for his return the following year.

The farewell also signals another turn in India’s packed festive calendar. With Ganeshotsav concluding, the country now moves towards the Navratri-Dussehra period and eventually Diwali, bringing weeks of celebrations, community gatherings and religious observances across regions.
