I saw the nails and the crown of thorns, and it made me pause and reflect. My heart breaks but it is also full of gratitude and joy.

These may look simple, but the impact it left on me is so deep.

I tried carrying the cross… and it was heavy like really heavy. And I was only holding it for a moment. It made me think about what more if you had to carry it alone, walking a long distance, wounded, bruised, and with a crown of thorns on your head? I honestly couldn’t imagine doing that.

And yet, Jesus did.

He carried the cross knowing it would lead to His death. He carried not just the weight of the wood, but the weight of our sins. I couldn’t do it… but He chose to. He endured the pain, the suffering, and the shame for all of us.

He paid it all.

And the story didn’t end at the cross. He rose again. He defeated the grave. God accepted the perfect sacrifice, His one and only Son.

What amazes me the most is this: Jesus didn’t come just to “fix” us. He came to give us a new life. We are not simply repaired, we are born again.

And all we need to do is to accept Him as our Lord and Savior.

I praise Him because I did. To God be all the glory 🙌🏻
