I am fascinated by Arabic music naturally.

Despite spending some time back in Beirut playing the oud and buzuk, I found myself coming back to my favourite instrument -
the electric guitar,
and mimicking those Arabic (micro) tones

This theme from Egyptian artist Mohammad Abdel Wahab is a little gem hidden in the middle of his orchestral piece

Roughly translated as
The gift of love

Performed originally on a kanun, violin, and ney - taking turns and doing variations on the original theme, here’s my rendition on my favourite instrument:)
