Dadio, you passed on Valentine’s Day - which feels oddly perfect in a way. 48 days. Learning to move through the world with a heart shattered into a million pieces feels impossible. I ache to hear you laugh again, tell a dirty joke, to watch you wrestle with Hank. I talk to you everyday and feel you in every room I walk into. Today is your 74th birthday ✨ We will celebrate and share memories. But at this moment, I sit in my sadness with love that feels like it has no where to go. I miss you so much I can hardly breathe some days. Happy Birthday, Dadio. I love you beyond words. 💫❤️

My father, Samuel E. Dennis, suffered a stroke and passed on February 14th, 2026 in Savannah, GA. Memorial Services will be held April 21st at the United States Naval Academy Chapel in Annapolis, Maryland. His ashes will be laid to rest at his family cemetery in Willards, MD the following day.
