HOPE IN A DESOLATE PLACE ✝️⚡️
3/27/2026
I came up on this desolate place.
Structures that had been, are now in pieces.
Remains claimed by barnacles, shells, algae, & crustaceans.
It was a lonely place. Avoided at length.
Occasionally, a curious person would come close for a quick look or a picture.
I found some flat rocks that had been tumbled thousands of times.
I grabbed a few that hadn’t quite finished their process.
I saw an abundance of starfish, clinging to the rocks. Easily overlooked.
The closer I looked, the more I saw.
The more life I saw.
Things I’d seen & hadn’t seen before.
I found a stick & seaweed to construct into a little altar. I stacked a few flat rocks next to it as I jammed it into the rock.
So much to soak in from this beautiful moment. SELAH
