I've been so sick n tired of the youtube downloader websites. Half of them don't work. Some say they'll download an mp3 but give you a .webm. AND ALL OF THEM ARE FILLED WITH ADS.
tldr: ITS MEGA FRUSTRATING.
i was looking for an easy solution when I realised I could make something of my own. (yes maybe it's time to use the 2 braincells I developed during my engineering)
So finally I made a very simple script which grabs the url of the video currently playing on youtube in the current tab, sends it to a server which knows about my current working directory in DaVinci Resolve, downloads that video/ audio there.

IT SAVES ME SOOOO MUCH TIME NOW. Y'all should build systems for your workflow too. It simplifies stuff so much!

Also, please do not download the copyrighted content on YouTube. It's unethical and we shouldn't support it. This was just a fun video idea I had. Hope y'all enjoyed :)
