As some of you may or may not know, my mom Elise was in the final stages of her journey living with Low Grade Endometrial Stromal Sarcoma (LGESS). She had been under the care of Freedom Hospice in Fort Worth since November of last year.

On Wednesday night, under the light of the full moon, Elise experienced a scary health event and we immediately called hospice. A short time later we had a house full of supplies and a nurse with us to ease her transition and keep her comfortable. My brother Nathanael arrived in the middle of the night, and we were all together as a family as she transitioned.

Elise passed on into the Great Love around 9pm on Easter Sunday, April 5th. She was surrounded by her family.

We know so many people loved her, and we covet your prayers and well wishes at this time.
