I’d like to propose that May 5th now be recognized as WORLD EGYPT DAY—a time for people across the globe to reflect on and celebrate the profound legacy of ancient Egypt. This day would honor the origins, symbolism, and enduring influence of Egyptian civilization, from the mysteries of the Sphinx to the reverence for divine figures such as Sekhmet and Ra.
Ancient Egypt has long captured the imagination of humanity with its rich mythology, monumental architecture, and contributions to art, science, and spiritual thought. Its cultural imprint continues to shape our understanding of history and human development.

World Egypt Day would serve as an opportunity to appreciate this remarkable heritage—the magic, mystique, and wisdom of a civilization that has left an indelible mark on the world. The celebration could even extend throughout the month of May, allowing for deeper exploration, education, and cultural appreciation.
