This project is a celebration of the female essence, exploring the fine line between softness and power. Inspired by the avant-garde spirit of Viktor & Rolf and the artisanal patchwork of Dolce & Gabbana, Love Me Again breathes new life into forgotten textiles.
Central to the design is the bow—a classic symbol of femininity reimagined in an oversized, architectural form to convey strength and bold expression. Through the conscious deconstruction of a vintage taffeta gown and a charity shop find from Dún Laoghaire, this piece merges vibrant reds with transparent blue tulle to create unique, fluid shades of purple. It is a testament to the Circular Economy, proving that through ‘handmade’ craftsmanship and creative reuse, fashion can be both an artistic statement and a sustainable promise.
