Professor Mohammad Marandi
In an interview for Al Mayadeen, Professor Mohammad Marandi emphasized that Iran will permanently control the Strait of Hormuz, alongside Oman.
“Oh, Iran is going to control the Strait of Hormuz permanently.”
He explained that the “biggest and most foolish mistake” Netanyahu and Trump made was starting this war, as it fundamentally changed Tehran’s assessment of the situation. What happened in the past is over.
“It was only as a result of this war that the Iranians decided that they must control the Strait. Otherwise, they had no such intention beforehand,” Professor Marandi noted.
