4 surgery delays, 4 months of waiting, and 1 goal in mind.
I initially tore my ACL and meniscus back in January during our high school pre-season tournament. Between February 20th and my final surgery date of May 1st, I had to deal with the frustration of being pushed back four times. However, those “unusual circumstances” ended up being a blessing in disguise. Those delays actually led to my meniscus tear to heal itself, leaving me only in need of an acl reconstruction on surgery day.
I’m thrilled to share that I am currently 4 days post-op and I’ve officially begun physical therapy to get back to the game I love. I am beyond grateful to God for His timing and to my family, friends, coaches, and school trainers for their unwavering support through the highs and lows. A huge thank you to my medical team for taking such great care of me.
It’s time to get to work ❤️🩹⚽️
