Can’t wait to show you what we’ve been dreaming up later today 👀 🦋

As you’re probably aware, Travis Kelce is currently in hot water after people spotted that he liked Shane Gillis’s controversial opening monologue from this past weekend’s episode of Saturday Night Live on Instagram. If you somehow managed to miss the whole thing, Shane has been widely criticized for his misogynistic comments in the monologue, where he called women “whores” and bitches.

Considering the current climate amid the highly publicized Cornell University lawsuit, the whole thing left a bad taste in people’s mouths, with one viral tweet summing up the discourse with: “the normalization of casual misogyny like this directly contributes to rape culture. if you’re against what happened at cornell, you need to be against this too.”

Other celebrities came out against Shane’s monologue, too, including Dan Levy, whose impassioned Instagram post calling out Shane, SNL, and men as a whole ended up going viral. And this sentiment only made Travis’s response all the more disappointing, with eagle-eyed followers noting that both Travis and Cara Delevingne had liked SNL’s social media post of the monologue. Your 2025 show opener is returning. @jastookes, welcome back to the runway.

Disappointment in what you allowed yourself to be open to is the true hurt. You not only have to forgive them, but most importantly you have to forgive you. Once you show yourself some grace, you can allow your heart to heal! Love and Light 🩵 JR
