Mention that introvert 🤣🤣🤣

A few weeks into series 2 and still having pinch me moments 🥹🩷 what a privilege it is to call this home.

Just realised I never made it grid official 🪩 So unbelievably grateful to be back for series 2 and loving every second of it.

LONG CAPTION AHEAD:

man oh man my debut album is out. ive droned on and on for quite some time about how badly ive wanted to do this for the longest time. its just true though, its hard to feel like you’re making an achievement when the music world moves so fast and the benchmark just gets further and further away. I’ve categorised all the hopes i have for my future into big dreams and small dreams. I celebrate either coming true, but the big dreams give me even bigger amounts of satisfaction. this is 100% a big dream. a huuuge dream. a very scary dream also because I’ll never be able to release a “debut” album again, but I don’t think i could’ve done anything to make it more perfect. To me personally!! Getting to work with FREEMONK at his beautiful studio with my sweet friend billy, and writing one in five feeling complete safety and comfort, flying across the world and meeting pera, who had no reason to trust me years ago when I swore I was making an album after leaving my label and having no management shortly after, yet he called relentlessly to make sure I didn’t lose the fire in my belly. Tyler who came down to the studio in LA and sorted the song I’d been struggling with for days. Lu who came to the studio after letting me cry on her shoulder about my ex, and telling me to get my pen and let her hand guide it. Jonah who is just a fucking genius and from the first 60 seconds of meeting me, understood exactly what I love about music, and let me play and have fun and write from a place of lunacy. And my sweet Gabi who’d have the patience with me to stop writing and play Mario kart when my period cramps get too intense, and my wonderful team at black butter who went through the album decks and did nothing but support my love for music and encourage me to keep going 🥹🥹🥹 this record was made from a place of love, from every edge and corner of it.

‪@serehbin‬
