When I first transferred to Sacred Heart, I was scared, alone, and uncertain. In addition, my mental health was at an all time low. It was a surprise to me that I even made it past 18 and to college, but other than that, I had no plan.
The start of sophomore year was where things changed for the better. I started therapy again, got on the right meds, and found amazing people that helped me through the past 3 years. I cannot thank my boyfriend and friends enough for sticking with me through all of my ups and downs.
5 years ago, if you told me I would be graduating from college and starting graduate school in the fall, I would’ve said you’re crazy.
Thank you
@sacredheartuniversity for giving me hope for a bright future. After college, I am attending SHU’s MSW program and on the path to trauma therapy, to give people hope to live another day.
