We asked thousands of people about veganism… and the results are actually kind of shocking.

From what people are eating, to what they wish existed, to how much trust really matters when it comes to labels…

One thing is clear:
this movement is growing fast, but there’s still so much room to improve.

More options.
Better transparency.
And brands that actually show up for this community. 🌱 #vegan #veganism #veganfriendly #animallovers

What's missing is the fact that only 1-2% of the population in most countries have a vegan lifestyle or in many cases "religion". That's why it is not common to find vegan clarity everywhere.

Um do people not know about dark chocolate?? IMO it’s way better than milk chocolate anyways, and though some brands still have milk in it, there’s plenty that don’t! Ghirardelli has a good one, 72% cacao intense dark chocolate, also Trader Joe’s brand and Tony’s has some.

The truth, veganism is a marketing platform, nothing more

What's missing is training webinars for activists to learn how to advocate for cruelty-free diets for dogs and cats - the most profitable 20% of the slaughter industry

What's missing is mandatory climate footprint labels for individual menu items and product packaging. A report from Yale University found that more than half of the respondents surveyed said they’d eat more plant-based foods if they had better information about the environmental impact of their options. The vast majority (94%) say they are willing to eat more fruit and vegetables, with six in ten (62%) saying they are “very” willing.
