Sasori isn't the type to care in general. He is a selective man, choosing those who truly have value to him, even classifying those who are efficient for him personally. Hana is someone who intrigues him, as she challenges his control, even if silently. This irritates him... But it also interests him. He studies her as a phenomenon beyond what he understands. He wants her around not as a form of manipulation, but as a way to keep, even though it might seem almost possessive on his part. He is someone who takes a deep interest in those who are efficient or who can challenge him, and Hana fits that description. She is stubborn, yet lively and constantly on the move, something that is the complete opposite of him. When Hana gets hurt, the puppeteer doesn't panic, but acts quickly and takes care of her, treating it as a purely technical matter (even if it has a subtle hint of protectiveness). 🍮🩹

I was going to draw Sasori with dreadlocks in my AU, with a different look in my interpretation! But I decided to show it in the next post, as a surprise ! =3
