Four months after meeting and here we are! What a powerful season this has been. The Lord spoke to us and said “the time is now, no more delaying”. Whilst planning for a big wedding ceremony, He showed us that He desired us to honour Him in this step of obedience, and to not give into cultural norms, extending the engagement period in order to focus more on preparation for a wedding day, a one time event, and take our focus off honouring a covenant before the Lord that is for life, one which He ordains, and where He tells you the perfect time to enter. When He speaks, we move, no questions, even if it doesn’t make sense. He has led us the whole way truly by His grace and mercy, and we are honoured to now call each other husband and wife. So when He spoke, we flew out and got married, just like that. Praise the Lord, this is the life we’ve been called to, radical obedience and trusting in Him with all our heart, not leaning on our own understanding. This really isn’t a usual marriage or life, we both know we are called to live by faith, on the frontlines together to exalt the name of Jesus and wage war against the Kingdom of darkness. Thank you for all your prayers, we are truly blessed with all the support. We bless you and are praying for you. Let’s see what the Lord is going to do! 💪
