It's 75 years this weekend since the public era of London's @southbankcentre began, with the opening of the 1951 #festivalofbritain.

The complex has some of my favourite buildings in London but I'm not in the capital ... so instead, here's some amazing samples of early 1950s advertising from the souvenir booklet that my parent(s) bequeathed.

I especially love the Heinz origin story and the Addis "nailbrush with a nickname". How about you?
