Durga Saptashati Sharanagati Shlokas | Prayers to Maa Durga for Inner Peace 🌺 ✨ Why is Sharanagati important? Sometimes, what weighs us down isn’t the world outside, but the guilt, regrets and hurt we carry within. These shlokas are more than prayers—they are an expression of surrender. 🪔 This Navaratri, offer your burdens at Amma’s feet, learn from your mistakes and seek Her grace to begin again. #durgasaptashati #shloka #durgamaa #navaratri #surrendertogod
This dip shocked me when I first learned how to make it from my friend. Just a can of sweetened condensed milk? It felt too good to be true. The best part is that you can make it in advance and store in the fridge until you need it! It’s a family favorite and is much easier than the whole dipping apple/make a mess process. Note: this is called Dulce de leche in many parts of the world, it’s delicious with shortbread cookies, in Peru they are called Alfajores. Ingredients 1 can sweetened condensed milk 4 apples of your choice 1/4 cup nuts, I prefer pecans, crushed. Directions - Place can in a pot and cover with water. Place on the stove and bring to a boil. Cover, then simmer for 2 hours. Let rest for 30 mins then open can and place caramel on a plate. Top with nuts, serve warm or store in the can in the fridge for the next day!
