The New Jim Code is officially here, and the federal government is legally protecting it.
We used to deal with bankers denying us mortgages or managers throwing out our resumes because of our zip codes or our names. That was the old redlining.
Now, they are replacing those people with artificial intelligence. And when the machine denies you, they just blame the code.
Colorado tried to stop this. They passed a historic law making it illegal for AI to discriminate against us in housing, hiring, and healthcare.
But Elon Musk sued to block it. And then, the U.S. Department of Justice joined him. They went to federal court and successfully argued that forcing AI to not be racist violates the constitution.
A federal judge just blocked the anti-discrimination law indefinitely.
They are not hiding it anymore. They are baking exclusion directly into the operating system of the future.
We cannot wait for corporate America or the government to save us. You cannot just be a consumer of this technology, and you definitely cannot afford to be blind to it.
