🇧🇼 Just the most uplifting, incredible (and intense!) experience here in Botswana over the last two days, as lead commentator for the world feed host broadcast of the Debswana Diamond Company World Athletics Relays in Gaborone.
The noise when the Botswana Men’s 4x400 team won the final event is still ringing in my ears now! Off the charts. 📈
The loudest athletics stadium I’ve ever been in by a long way, and possibly even in any sport!
700 athletes, 36 races, 6 hours of broadcast. My brain is somewhat jaded!
The locals have been absolutely amazing in their welcome & hospitality too. A fantastic trip and event, and one I will never forget.

Your commentary on this was spectacular. Maybe the best race I've ever watched, and I've seen loads. Truly great job on the comms, so much happening. THE NOISE.

As a Motswana watching from Liverpool I was crying and still crying to have missed this historic event. Am glad my country delivered . That’s how we are known for . 🔥🔥🔥
