🚨 V8 engines are coming back to Formula 1 in 2030, says FIA president Mohammed Ben Sulayem.
⠀
His plan targets cars approximately 80 kg lighter, at least 50% lower engine research and development costs, and a renewed focus on the V8 soundtrack.
⠀
F1 last raced with naturally aspirated 2.4-liter V8s in 2013 before switching to 1.6-liter turbocharged V6 hybrids in 2014.
⠀
But this announcement does not specify the new engine’s displacement, rev limit or hybrid configuration, so don’t assume the old formula is returning unchanged.
⠀
Ben Sulayem outlined the plans in Kigali as Rwanda secured a 10-year agreement to host the African Grand Prix from the early 2030s.
⠀
He expects the new V8s to feature at Rwanda’s first race, although the exact inaugural race date has not been announced.
⠀
Would lighter cars and the return of V8 power make this the F1 era you’ve been waiting for?
⠀
What are your thoughts? 🤔💭

📖 What Does the Book of Enoch Say About Hell? 👁⚖️
—
❓What if the most unsettling part of the ancient afterlife isn’t punishment for your own actions, but the harm you allow to continue?

Why does the Book of Enoch describe different fates for the dead instead of one universal destination?

And what if the most disturbing question isn’t who deserves judgment… but who has been protecting wrongdoing all along?
