Sabeena Farooq applauds a girl for confronting a man who refused to give his horse water after a long ride, praising her & other brave women for standing up against such treatment 👏 #SabeenaFarooq (📸: @arts_animalrescue)
She actually did it😭 The two shared the story during an interview with Zane Lowe for Apple Music while discussing their collaboration on the “expectations” remix. Olivia recalled venting about her experiences with men as they worked on the song’s second verse, prompting Chappell’s very direct advice. Their collaboration makes the story even better. Chappell, who previously opened for Olivia on the GUTS Tour and contributed backing vocals to her music, brings her own perspective on dating and romantic disappointment to the remix. Their chemistry as friends comes through in the way they talk about the writing process, and now fans get to hear that dynamic reflected in the music, too. #OliviaRodrigo #ChappellRoan #Expectations #PopMusic #MusicNews
