ACT III – HOW DETROIT SHAPED ME, HOW A&T GREW ME

Detroit shaped me into a girl with grit, a young woman who learned early how to be strong, loud in her purpose, and unshakable in her spirit. My city taught me resilience, community, and courage — the kind you carry in your chest even on the days you feel small. But North Carolina A&T took that foundation and elevated it. A&T sharpened my voice, strengthened my confidence, and turned that Detroit strength into leadership.

And now, in 6 days, I’ll be walking across that stage as the product of both: Detroit gave me the fire, and A&T taught me how to aim it.
