POSTS STORIES REELS

I'm so thankful to the man upstairs for introducing me to my person. It's been amazing getting to know this remarkable woman. I wake up everyday thinking about her and trying to find new ways to make her laugh and keep her day bright. In all I can say I'm a lucky guy, I look forward to going through this journey with you Zi and all the wonders that it brings us.🙌🏽💙 by @shes_zi

My Testimony: God’s Timing Is Always Worth the Wait ❤️🙏🏽

There was a time when I would look at other people experiencing love and companionship and wonder when it would be my turn. I wanted someone I could talk to, pray with, share my life with, and grow with in Christ. As much as I tried to be strong, there were moments when the loneliness really hurt.

GENESIS 2:18 ✝️✨🩻

I remember crying to my mom because I was tired of not having someone. I wanted companionship, and I wondered when God would allow that part of my life to happen. I didn’t understand why I was still waiting, and honestly, there were moments when I just wanted to know if my time would ever come.

PSALM 37:4 ✨✝️

But what I didn’t know was that God was already working on a story I couldn’t see yet.

The very next week, I met Nykeem. 🥹❤️

Think about that! The week before, I was crying to my mom about not having companionship, and the following week, I met someone who reminded me that sometimes God can bring unexpected people into our lives when we least expect it.

PSALM 27:14 ✨🫶🏾✝️

One scripture that comes to mind when I reflect on this experience is Proverbs 18:22 (KJV):

“Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the LORD.”

This verse reminds me that companionship and marriage are meaningful gifts, but I’ve also learned that I cannot rush God’s plans for my life. Meeting Nykeem doesn’t mean I know everything about our future. Instead, it’s an opportunity for me to practice patience, keep God first, and allow things to unfold in His timing.

ISAIAH 60:22 🙏🏾🥹✝️

I’ve learned that my worth isn’t determined by whether I’m in a relationship. God was with me when I was crying, He was with me when I felt lonely, and He is still with me today.

Sometimes, we get so caught up asking God, “Lord, when will it be my turn?” that we forget He sees the bigger picture.

ECCLESIASTES 49:10 👩🏽‍❤️‍👨🏾✨

My testimony is not just about meeting someone. It’s about what God is teaching me through the waiting. It’s about learning to trust Him when I don’t understand, surrendering my desires to Him, and remembering that I am loved even before a relationship enters my life.

Hi everyone, I’m Zi. 💜

Welcome to Move With Zi.

I was born without a tibia bone and wear a prosthetic leg. Throughout my life, I’ve learned that movement looks different for everybody, and that’s okay.

For a long time, I wasn’t sure what kind of content I wanted to create. Then I realized the answer was right in front of me: my journey.

Through Move With Zi, I’ll be sharing my Pilates journey, healthy lifestyle habits, hair care, disability advocacy, and the everyday moments that shape who I am.

I’m not an expert. I’m learning, growing, and challenging myself one step at a time. My hope is that this space encourages others to embrace their own journey, move at their own pace, and celebrate every win along the way.

Thank you for being here. This is just the beginning. ✨

With love,
Zi 💜💗 #MoveWithZi #ProstheticLeg #PilatesJourney #AdaptiveFitness #DisabilityAwareness MovementForEveryone WellnessJourney by @shes_zi

ACT IV — THE FINALE: GIBBS KID SIGNING OUT

Thank you, Gibbs, for everything you have poured into me. Thank you for welcoming me with open arms from the very beginning, for seeing me, for guiding me, and for teaching me what advocacy truly looks like. You created a space where I could grow, speak up, and stand confidently in who I am.

Because of you, I learned how to use my voice with purpose. Because of you, I found the courage to lead, to serve, and to be unapologetically myself.

This chapter may be ending, but the impact you’ve had on me will follow me far beyond these walls.

With love, gratitude, and pride…
Gibbs Kid, signing out. #aggiepride💙💛 #hbculove #hbcupride by @shes_zi

ACT III – HOW DETROIT SHAPED ME, HOW A&T GREW ME

Detroit shaped me into a girl with grit, a young woman who learned early how to be strong, loud in her purpose, and unshakable in her spirit. My city taught me resilience, community, and courage — the kind you carry in your chest even on the days you feel small. But North Carolina A&T took that foundation and elevated it. A&T sharpened my voice, strengthened my confidence, and turned that Detroit strength into leadership.

And now, in 6 days, I’ll be walking across that stage as the product of both: Detroit gave me the fire, and A&T taught me how to aim it. I carry my city in my heart and my Aggie Pride in every step — proof that where you come from matters, and where you choose to grow matters even more. #aggiepride💙💛 #detroitaggies #💛💙 by @shes_zi

ACT II THE FOUNDATION - North Carolina A&T didn’t just educate me it stands on a foundation of courage, resistance, and purpose.

When I was a little girl, I visited the International Civil Rights Center & Museum — the historic Woolworth site — and learned about the bravery of the A&T Four during the Greensboro sit-ins.

Four students. One decision.
A moment that would help change a nation.

They didn’t wait for permission.
They didn’t back down.
They stood firm in who they were — and in doing so, they built a foundation that generations after them could stand on.

That moment in history became more than a lesson — it became a legacy. One that lives through the culture, the excellence, and the purpose of North Carolina A&T.

Every step taken on this campus echoes their bravery.
Every opportunity given is because they chose to act.

Act II is about the foundation they built —
and the responsibility to carry it forward. #aggiepride💙💛 ,#hbcu, #hbcupride, #A&Tfour by @shes_zi

ACT I - “DIVINE DISABILITY.
Because nothing about me is accidental.”

I wasn’t always this confident.
I wasn’t always this bold about my story.

I was born different — and for a long time, I struggled with that.
There were days I didn’t love myself… days I felt alone… days I wished I could blend in instead of stand out. I questioned why God chose me to walk this path.

But on January 22, 2022, everything shifted.

God gave me a vision I didn’t understand back then…
but now I see it clearly — He had a master plan the entire time.

He didn’t make a mistake when He made me.
He made me with intention.
With purpose.
With a voice that was never meant to be silent.

Creating Divine Disability healed me.
It taught me that what I once saw as a weakness was actually my strength… my ministry… my platform.

And now, in 16 days, I will walk across that stage —
not just as a graduate,
not just as someone with a disability,
but as a young woman who has beat every odd people thought would break her.
A young woman who kept going when they counted her out.
A young woman who learned to choose herself, love herself, and stand in her purpose.

Now I show up boldly in rooms that weren’t designed for people like me —
and I make space for the next person coming behind me.
I advocate. I uplift. I fight for what’s right.
And I remind others: Don’t be afraid to be who you are. Your difference is divine.

This is more than a photoshoot.
This is my story. My growth. My calling.

God didn’t make a mistake with me —
He made a mission through me.

To anyone reading this:
Walk in your truth. Stand in your power. And never let this world convince you that you are anything less than chosen.

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” — Philippians 4:13
