To run through gnarled brush under the shadow of a grand mountain as the sun paints land gold, this is the life of the late summer mountain hare.
Hop to it if you want to keep up with this swift footed and quick witted creature.

I Was Back in my favorite place in the world, the Eastern Sierra Nevadas!!!
I cant even begin to tell you how much this place means to me, if it was convenient for my job to live there i would in a heartbeat. I love it so so so much.
Maybe people see me as a forest dweller, and i very much am , but truly my heart belongs to the high alpine desert 🥹❤️
It's everything i could ask for in a landscape
When i go back in the spring/summertime ive tried to utilize the beautiful background for photos as its offers such an unreal image.
This time i went with a mountain hare! I wanted my color palette to be in line with the colors you see out here. To have it complement the shrubs and rocks.
Im already dying to go back.
Its home for me there
These were taken in late summer but the colors and vibe just gave fall vibes so i am posting them now 🤭

A US man who once appeared on the TV talent competition American Idol has been sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole for murdering his wife.

Caleb Flynn, 40, was found guilty last week after a short deliberation by the jury, which rejected his claim that an intruder broke into his Ohio home and shot his wife, Ashley Flynn, as she slept.

He was also found guilty of eight additional charges, including aggravated murder and tampering with evidence.

Brewing up new stars 🪄

@NASAWebb’s unique view of the stellar nursery known as NGC 7129 reveals numerous stars formerly hidden in this cosmic cauldron.

Stars begin their life in cold, dense regions of dust and gas, hiding from view of most telescopes. Webb’s high degree of infrared sensitivity allows astronomers to peer through dust to study these baby stars.

In this image, we can see stars in various stages of development. The most mature and massive (about 5-8x the mass of our Sun) is the region’s bright central star. In the cavity on the left, appearing in gold, is the largest demonstration of its impact. The outflows from an earlier stage in the star’s development carve into the dense molecular cloud of hydrogen, and combine with the star’s light, causing it to glow.

The region on the right, represented in red, hides much younger objects than those on the left: protostars. As the protostars accumulate matter and increase mass, they eject outflows of super heated material that interact with matter around the star, creating shocks that cause the textured appearance we see in this image. More protostar outflows are at upper left where a dark shadow is being cast by a protostar disk, visible against the surrounding nebula, depicted in blue.

Seeing these different structures help astronomers study the star lifecycle in various stages, leading to a more complete understanding of our universe.
