Your paycheck gets taxed immediately. A billionaire’s fortune can grow untaxed for years. 💵🧠 In the U.S., stocks can gain millions in value without triggering income tax on that growth until they’re sold. But the wealthy can spend without selling. They borrow against their shares, get cash, and keep their investments. A genuine loan generally isn’t taxable income because it must be repaid. They owe interest, but they can postpone the tax bill while their wealth stays invested. Most workers need their paycheck to cover this month’s bills. They can’t choose to delay earning it until the tax timing suits them. For workers, taxes come out before the bills get paid. For the wealthy, postponing them is part of the business plan. Wirtz went starving in an all you can eat buffet - If you’re wondering why there’s suddenly loads of writing underneath my posts it’s because Instagram has started flagging stuff as unoriginal and apparently longer captions help. Had a couple of posts get flagged the other day like that Liverpool one and ended up having to delete them. It’s why loads of accounts are putting massive AI paragraphs under everything now. I’d rather just write something myself so that’s what we’re doing. Cheers Instagram. #ucl #lfc #Liverpool
📖 We are all books, but not everyone will take the time to read us. Some will judge us by our appearance. Some will form opinions after a few pages. Some will believe what others have said about us without ever knowing our story. But a few will be patient enough to look beyond the cover, understand the chapters we rarely speak about, and accept the parts of our story that aren’t easy to tell. Because knowing someone takes time. Understanding someone takes patience. And truly seeing someone takes a heart willing to look beyond the obvious. You don’t have to be understood by everyone. Sometimes, all you need is someone who is willing to read beyond the first page. 🤍 Save this as a reminder: never judge a person before you’ve taken the time to know their story.
