asked God what I should take from this retreat, and Psalm 46:10 kept coming to mind: “Be still, and know that I am God. I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world.” This weekend called me back to who I am in Christ and opened my eyes again to how God sees me—His child, His own. He factored in all of our stupid mistakes when He decided to put us here and still loves us the same. In the stillness, I found space to lay down my worries and anxieties, to release what I was never meant to carry, and to step into a kind of vulnerability that felt both humbling and freeing. I took the main message to be about learning to find gratitude in the quiet and ordinary moments that once felt invisible. The “worst” is never truly the worst (Lamentations 3:28-30). I feel deeply blessed to have stepped away from the noise of the world and to have shared something so meaningful with my brothers and sisters. Thank You, Jesus!
