10 Days, Grinding Paid Off! 💪
Since April 16th, I’ve Been Fishing Every Possible Day And Making The Most Of The River. Awesome Evenings, Beautiful Days And Enjoyable Sessions Varying From An Hour To 10 Hour Grinds, And Finally!
April 26th 2026.
The Day Something Truly Special Happened. From The Start I Had Some Sort Of Feeling, That Something Would Happen, But Not Exactly Expecting Anything. I Like To Say That I Am Out Casting, Not Fishing, To Purely Put My Perspective Into The Right Setting.
But Despite That. My Confidence Was Through The Roof, And Every Cast I Made Seemed Perfect. Three Hours Went By And I Made My Way Up To A Bend Casting Throughout The Hard Flowing Current, Where I Had Caught A Salmon Last Year.
Soon Enough, I Feel Weight And A Sudden Heavy Headshake, Set The Hook, And This Salmon Starts Ripping Drag! 💥
I Start Following It Up And Down The River, Making Some Insane Headshakes, But Seemingly Being Weirdly Calm Enough Throughout The Fight, Without Any Jumps. The SG6 Salmonoid Did A Great Job of Handling This Fish, With Good Headshake Absorption, Which Only Made This Fight More Enjoyable. Ten Minutes In, The Salmon Starts Tiring Out, And After A Long 11 Minutes, Of Fighting This Beast, I Get It In The Net!
This Fish Has To Be One Of My All time Greatest Catches, Measuring In At 97cm, weighing 8.5kg, Wild Chromer And Being My New PB SALMON!! 🔥
