In Miami, it’s not about waiting for the right deal to come along, it’s about finding the realtor. There are always good deals on the market, people just need to know how to find them. #MiamiRealtor #MiamiRealestate #Fixer-upper #HomeImprovement #miamirealestateagent

Katie Zacharia’s brief tenure as White House press secretary ended Friday after only five days on the job, making her the shortest-serving person in the role in modern U.S. history.

President Donald Trump announced Zacharia’s appointment on October 9 as the successor to Karoline Leavitt. She officially began the role on October 12. Her first and only briefing in the James S. Brady Press Briefing Room took place the following day and lasted roughly 14–15 minutes. She took a limited number of questions, primarily from conservative-leaning outlets, and the performance drew widespread criticism for its brevity, reliance on prepared remarks, and overall delivery.

Compounding the scrutiny was the revelation about her legal credentials. Zacharia, a 2011 graduate of Pepperdine University’s Caruso School of Law, had repeatedly described herself as a lawyer and was introduced by Trump as an “attorney.” She later confirmed she sat for the California bar exam in 2011 but did not pass and never became licensed to practice law in any U.S. jurisdiction.

The issue intensified after she gave an unclear response when asked where she had passed the bar, and a complaint was filed with the California State Bar Association regarding whether she had improperly held herself out as entitled to practice law.

On Friday, Trump told reporters outside the White House that he had spoken with Zacharia and suggested she “reconsider” the position. He said he told her she did not need the job and expressed concern that she might not be happy in it, while also criticizing the media’s coverage of her. Shortly afterward, White House officials confirmed she was transitioning out of the role. Reports described the move variously as her being let go or fired. It remains unclear whether she will take another position in the administration or Trump’s orbit.

Zacharia’s five-day tenure is shorter than Anthony Scaramucci’s 11-day stint as White House communications director in 2017. The rapid exit returns the White House communications operation to a period of uncertainty ahead of the midterm elections.

Te pidió que dejaras de gritar... 🥀🖤

Frase atribuida en redes a Fiódor Dostoievski que encontré en un poema de Kamryn Tanner.

Today I read a quote that said: "I was burning in flames while you came to blame me for the smell of ashes." And it broke something inside me. Because there are people who can see you completely broken and still find a way to make you feel guilty. They hurt you so much that when you finally scream in pain, the only thing that bothers them is the noise you're making. And you end up apologizing for the way you reacted, for crying too much, for needing help. As if your suffering were worse than everything they put you through. And while you're burning in the flames, you begin to realize everything the fire is taking away from you. Your peace. Your ability to trust. That part of you that still didn't know what it was like to live this way. But even after the fire goes out, there's one memory you can never seem to forget. All those times you reached out your hand through the flames, hoping that person would take it. But they saw you. They heard you. And still, they asked you to stop screaming.

This is the time of year when Nuthatches are in peak form. There is an old folk saying "Crazy as a Nuthatch" and this is their "scary" dance which I think most of their neighbors have seen before. If you're lucky you'll see them behave like this at your feeders 😊. #birds
