Thousands of children are being treated in NHS hospital corridors and waiting rooms, according to data obtained by ITV News. The parents of a toddler who spent hours in a busy A&E corridor shortly before he died, have told ITV News it is “emblematic of a broken system”. In the final hours of two-year-old Finlay Roberts’ life, his mother even had to administer a rectal suppository to her critically ill son, while sitting on a chair in the public area. A spokesperson from Whittington Hospital, said “Whittington Health NHS Trust, like many NHS organisations across the country, continues to experience periods of exceptional demand across urgent and emergency care services. Our staff work tirelessly to provide safe and compassionate care in extremely challenging conditions, and we continue to take all possible steps to improve patient flow, increase capacity and reduce the need for care to be delivered in these environments. The Trust extends its sincere condolences to Finlay’s family.”

Shift happens. & It’s the little shifts that change reallyyyy be the life changing ones ✨ -shifting with the seasons & incorporating more whole foods - shifting your mindset on exercise & just focusing on getting movement in each day. -shifting with life, when things change -showing up for yourself / Little bits of self care (for me this was finally committing to @invisalign since ive been putting it off FOREVER). Isn’t it funny how we spend so much time taking care of everyone else & put off the little things we’ve wanted to/should do for ourselves? :/ To me, that’s what health is really about—showing up for yourself in the little ways, too. I used to feel so bad doing things for myself and prioritizing self care, but this has been the biggest shift for me that has made the most positive impact. @invisalign has made me feel more confident & has been such a breezeeee. It’s such an easy & more affordable process than I thought! That along with sauna/red light, sun light, eating seasonally, slowing down my workouts - these are my needle movers! What’s something you’ve been putting off that you should do for yourself!? <3 #invisalign #invisalignpartner
15 years ago, in 2011, we unveiled a very unexpected – and very round – Machine: the Legacy Machine N°1. Developed with Kari Voutilainen and Jean-François Mojon, LM1 took everyone by surprise (our team included!) and marked not only the beginning of the Legacy Machine series, but also the start of a long series of collaborative projects with Kari. Tomorrow, the LM1 calibre returns. And while its signature vertical power reserve indicator, flying balance wheel and dual time zone indication remain, the evolution is very real 😉 See you tomorrow!
