Sometimes, you disappear for a while, not because you want attention, but because you want to know if anyone will notice.

You stop texting first. You stop checking on people. You stop being the one who always tries to keep the conversation alive. And slowly, you realize that some connections only existed because you were the one holding them together.

The hardest part isn't being alone. It's realizing how many people made you feel alone even when you were there for them.

You remember all the times you showed up, listened to their problems, stayed awake to comfort them, and made sure they were okay. But when you finally go quiet, the silence tells you everything you were too afraid to admit.

Maybe they never hated you. Maybe they never meant to hurt you. Maybe you just mattered less to them than they mattered to you.

And that's a painful thing to accept.

But please remember, your worth isn't measured by who notices your absence. You don't have to keep proving that you deserve a place in someone's life. The right people won't make you feel like your presence is something they can take for granted.

Sometimes, stepping back doesn't make people come closer. It simply shows you who was willing to stay.

Have you ever disappeared just to see who would notice?

Is it possible my body is suddenly rejecting artificial Sugie?

Or was I bitten by a Spidey?😳

I’m excited to share something I’ve been working on for a long time.

I created The 90-Day Body Transformation Program which is a complete system for sustainable fat loss (see link in my bio 👉 @drjamesdinic)

It combines practical nutrition, effective training, habit-building strategies, and progress tracking all in one easy-to-follow guide.

What You’ll Get:
· A 90-day roadmap to sustainably lose weight and keep it off
· Flexible nutrition using the simple hand-portion method (no obsessive tracking required)
· How to calculate your calorie needs to sustainably lose weight
· Full training programs (Full work out plans, lifting + cardio guidance)
· Full meal plans at different calorie levels
· What foods to eat and which to avoid to lose weight
· Supplement recommendations, troubleshooting, and tracking tools
· Lifetime access to the digital PDF

Get The 90-Day Body Transformation Program via the link in my bio 👉 @drjamesdinic.

PS - I started a Substack where I publish health articles. You definitely don’t want to miss out on this information. Subscribe to my Substack via the link in my Bio 👉 @drjamesdinic.

Has metaphysics become redundant?

At last year's festival, philosopher of science Massimo Pigliucci proposed that in an age of flourishing science, metaphysics is no longer a necessary area of study.

Keep an eye out for a first look what big ideas our philosophy panels will be tackling at the next HowTheLightGetsIn Festival at Hay next May!

Cozy season is officially here 🍂🤍🌸✨ In love with these dreamiest, cloud-soft pieces from @simpleretro. Which one is your favorite: the pink cardigan or the lilac sweater? 💗💜
