I don’t think I’ll ever be able to fully put this trip into words, but I know it changed me in ways I’m still trying to understand. I went into this thinking I was going to serve, to give my time, my energy, and my heart, but I didn’t expect how much God would move, not just in others, but in me too.
Getting to witness salvations firsthand is something I’ll never forget. Seeing people open their hearts, hearing them say yes to Jesus, and knowing their lives are forever changed is something I pray to never forget. It’s more than just a moment, it’s eternity, it’s hope, it’s new life right in front of your eyes.
This trip reminded me that faith isn’t meant to stay comfortable or contained. It’s meant to be lived out boldly, to reach people, and to love without hesitation. It showed me how powerful simply showing up can be, and how God can use anyone who’s willing. I saw joy in places you wouldn’t expect, strength in people who have so little, and a kind of faith that challenged my own.
I’m coming back with a different perspective, a more grateful heart, and a desire to live differently. This wasn’t just a trip, it was a reminder of what truly matters, thank you Jesus for spring break 26’ ☺️✝️🩷🌍
