Amazing performance- thank you!

Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood has confirmed that most migrants working in social care will now be exempt from the 15-year waiting period to settle in Britain, allowing them a faster route to permanent residency.

Lucien Smith spent his August making new ‘Rain Paintings’ at an abandoned Montauk baseball field in a return to his early-career stardom and what would be his final exhibition.

The four large-scale pieces are now on view in ‘Delay of Game,’ an ongoing show at @tripoligallery, whose title draws from a baseball call: when rain stops the play, the grounds crew roll out a tarp to protect the field. For Smith, the tarp catches the paint.

The speckled canvases emit a meditative quality, reflecting Smith’s own inner state when he made them. “A process like this is a gift,” he said. “When I was younger I thought I needed to keep looking, that landing on one thing so early meant I’d be missing something. I let the market and outside criticism dictate my practice, and that was a mistake. Life has taken me full circle. I think it is time to return to the process I was given.”

‘Delay of Game’ is now on view until November 23. Read more via the link in bio.

It's no exaggeration to say that Zohran Mamdani’s political campaign took the world by storm. Its success has led to other prospective and sitting politicians mimicking the tactics. But you know what they say: often imitated, never duplicated.

Earlier this year at Social Media Week, leaders from the agency that created video content for @NYCMayor Mamdani’s election campaign shared what it takes to captivate voters online. Charisma is important, but as @MeltedSolids co-founder @butlikesrsly noted, a content creator who has the experience and knowledge to direct the candidate is also crucial.

Did I even look like a witch? 🧙‍♀️
Farewell, Halloween 2026! 👻
