روحــــــــ.ش شاد یا.دش گرامی متاسفانه باخبر شدیم دقایقی قبل اکبر عبدی عزیز در گذشت.... *Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind* is an American romantic science fiction film released in 2004. The screenplay was written by Charlie Kaufman, and the film was directed by Michel Gondry. Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet star as a couple who have erased each other from their memories; Winslet altered her acting style for the role.[2] The cast also includes Kirsten Dunst, Mark Ruffalo, Elijah Wood, and Tom Wilkinson. The film’s title is a quote from Alexander Pope’s 1717 poem *Eloisa to Abelard*. It incorporates elements of psychological drama, science fiction, and non-linear storytelling to explore the nature of memory and romantic love.
On Wednesday I was fortunate enough to be given an Honorary title of “Doctor of Arts” by @bathspauni and I couldn’t be more grateful! Firstly, I’d like to start by saying congratulations to everyone who I met yesterday and anyone at all who has graduated this year. Also, to anyone who has worked for an actual doctorate this is by no means anywhere near as impressive as anything you have done or achieved, nor will I pretend it is, serious hats off to you all. When I got offered this opportunity my initial reaction was disbelief; as I wondered why I deserved such a privilege. I even questioned accepting due to the over consuming imposter syndrome. However, that is a feeling I’ve felt a lot over the last few years and the opportunities I’ve been able to experience because of that feeling of “why me?” have been the best of my life. So, I accepted despite that feeling due to one main reason. When I was at uni (and to an extent to this day) I feared judgement. I knew I wanted to make videos because I’d watched them for years and had a desire that I’d not felt for anything else before; but I didn’t act on it because it wasn’t comfortable and I was scared what people would think. That feeling hasn’t left, rather it’s become easier to deal with the more I branch outside of my comfort zone. Appearing on other people’s channels, dancing and public speaking would’ve felt even more alien to the version of me that hadn’t yet started posting and putting himself out of his comfort zone. So I accepted because if any 1 person resonated with that maybe they could take a bit of a leap themselves. I don’t think I’m the best or most talented content creator around and I don’t class myself as “successful”. However, to me that shows you don’t have to have it all figured out or be the final article to give it a go. It was a true honour and a privilege to be considered and one hell of a side quest. So thanks again to Bath Spa University and to you all for allowing me to have a job I wake up daily wondering how I got so lucky. (Honorary)Dr. Clarkey x
