The Home Alone house kept its famous face but changed everything behind it

Stand across the street in Winnetka, Illinois, and the red brick mansion still looks like the movie. The dormers, the black shutters and the arched white entrance are all there, only without the Christmas lights that made it glow in 1990.

Walk through the front door and the magic of the film is gone. The floral wallpaper, the red carpeted staircase, the green velvet curtains and the glossy tiled kitchen counters have given way to crisp white paneling, dark hardwood floors and a crystal chandelier. The kitchen is now a bright open space with two large islands and doors to the garden.

Even the rooms you remember best have been transformed. The bedroom with the four-poster bed is now calm and neutral. The living room with its stockings and towering tree is now a symmetrical sitting room in white. The fireplaces survived, just without the holiday chaos around them.

Gone with the red carpet is the staircase where Kevin once took his legendary sled ride.

Renovations can erase wallpaper, but they can’t change how a whole generation pictures Christmas.

Calls for justice for Nolan Wells are reaching beyond Mississippi as demonstrators gather in New York City to demand answers and accountability.

Supporters say Wells' family deserves the truth about what happened to him, and they're determined to keep his name in the spotlight. As the movement spreads across state lines, protesters are making it clear that the questions surrounding his case remain unanswered.

8 bizarre habits that physically raise your frequency.

Frequency is not an esoteric invention. It is the state of your nervous system. When you are calm, your body resonates on the same wavelength as luck. When you are tense, on the wavelength of loss.

1. Hum for 2 minutes.
2. Before sleep, say: “Show me what I need to see tonight.”
3. 20 seconds of gratitude, hand on your heart.
4. Imagine your future self in six months.
5. 2 minutes in the sun with closed eyes.
6. Live through stuck anger with your body.
7. Whatever you do fast, do it slowly.
8. Before sleep, step into your future self.

Don’t believe it. Test it.

But notice what all eight have in common. None of them work once. Your nervous system learns its frequency from what it repeats, and the tense voice gets the first word every morning.

There’s a one minute window right after you wake, before your eyes open, when your brain is still in theta and takes what it hears as instruction rather than opinion.

Comment MIND and I’ll send you what I use.
